I’m just your typical San Franciscan cultural mutt – a half Asian, half Caucasian girl in her late twenties - who spends her days and weekends exploring the inner and outer-workings of this incredible city. By day, I join Corporate America, working for a company I am proud of and in a job I’m lucky enough to love and be challenged in. Outside of work is where I fulfill my appetite for experiencing life – one bite, one sip, one hike and one trip at a time. Maybe it was living across the globe growing up, spending time in the South, the West, the desert, the coast and South America. Or perhaps it was my multicultural upbringing, where food and the appreciation of food fused the very diverse influences of my nomadic, musical mother with those of my traditional, mathematically-inclined father. I’m not sure exactly. All I know is that there has always been a strong desire to really live and experience my surroundings – primarily through food, drink and play. Or in this case. Pao Chow, Pao Sip and Pao Fit. I also write a column for Examiner.com as the SF Burger Examiner, searching the city streets for SF’s best burger and am a contributing food writer for local SF resource, SF Station. I hope you enjoy reading and find something you relate to!
